When I initially rec’d the drops I felt tricked. 1st off, there is none of the hormone HCG that the FDA gov’t keeps talkin’ about. But the title of the product is HCG Transformation (even though is has only Transformation on the bottle; hormone-free HCG alternative I felt mislead. Called the company. Was explained how HCG is actually a restricted prodoct that is not allowed to be sold on Amazon. Learned a lot. The purpose of these HCG alternative drops was to “fool” the body into thinking it was pregnant. Didn’t quite understand but bottom line, has to be used on a very low calorie diet. Was told anybody could lose weight if they stuck with the diet’s very strict protocol but it was all about maintaining your body’s metabloic rate. That’s where the diet came inAfter further explanation and some additional research, I began to under stand. When the body goes on the VLCD (very low calorie diet) your body’s first reaction is that it thinks your body’s starving. Which is one one the purposes of the loading phase (1st 2 days where you eat everything and then some filling your fat lipids). Well anyways. Was told that if I wasn’t happy, they’d glady refund my money in it’s entirety. So I decided, what the heck, let’s give it a go. Didn’t start the drops til day 3 as instructed by the protocol. ate like crazy during the first 2 days as if I never was going to eat again. Which was kindof true. Starting taking the drops twice a day on day 3. Almost killed my husband (probably would have then eaten him on day 4) but was determined to stick with the diet’s protocol. I stuck to it to a capital T! and wow! Lost 9 pounds during the first week! Stepped on the scale twice and then a third to make sure it was accurate. Needless to say I’m off the diet now (hear your body builds a tolerance. Don’t eat like I used to (can’t imagine) and have proudly say for the first time in forty years have kept it off. Was told that you need to take 30 days off before starting a second round. Can’t wait til Feb.My adivce: If you get through day 3 and 4 (1st 2 days are the loading phase where you eat everrything in site; that was easy) then you’ll succeed. Keep in mind it is a VLCD but the drops did help me in curbing my appetite and maining my muscle mass. The maintenance of my muscle mass, as it’s been explained to me, is what’s allowed to keep the weight off because I never lower my metabolism. So again, if you can survive days 3 and 4 and have a supporting husband, buy em and just follow the protocol. The recipes were also helpful even though I’m not much of a cook. Above all, manage your expectations and I hope, like me, you’re a “loser”.

Tried the injections of the actual hormone a couple years ago so I was skeptical that these hormone-free drops would be effective. My expectations weren’t that high. After reading the diet’s protocol, I found similarities of this diet and the one I did back in 2009. Before starting the drops, I had to eat all sorts of stuff, loading my fat cells. I remembered doing this before and thinking this was contrary to my goal of losing weight. The first week of being on the drops I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn’t weight myself until day 7 because I didn’t want to jinx anything. I found the protocol to be strict but doable. On day 7 when I stepped of the scale I was shocked! Stepped on the scale again to make sure its accuracy. I had lost 10 lbs. Definitely more than I expected. I was very psyched and motivated for week two.The second week was definitely different than week one. The first couple days of being on the diet and was very hungry thinking even burnt toast sounded good. I also experienced slight headaches during the middle of week one. The hunger pains went away during week one and week two was smooth sailing. Learned the headaches were from my body adjusting to burning the stored fat. Not quite sure I understand it but they went away and didn’t return during week 2. Stepped on the scale on day 14 and was down another 6 lbs for a total of 16 pounds.Week 3 was the same as week two except I didn’t adhere to the diet like I did in week 1. Family was over and I ate more than I was supposed to. Day 21, stepped on the scale and lost only a pound. Ran out of drops during the 4th week (supposed to last 30 days) but that’s ok.After it was all said and done and after running out of the drops on day 24, I lost a total of 19 pounds! My expectations weren’t high because I was skeptical that the advertised hormone free diet drops would work. But boy did they. And as far as the cost of $20+, SAVED a lot of money compared to the injections I did two years ago. Two thumbs up!!

No HCG, but good formula anyway, December 29, 2011

I admit I’m disappointed in the bold HCG on the bottle. But it does say HCG *Activation”, and the product description on Amazon does give the ingredients in the formula. I recommend that the buyer do a little homework before buying any of these weight-loss products. With HCG Activation, you’ll see that it is non-homeopathic and doesn’t contain HCG, so it is not one of the products, as far as I know, that the FDA is going after. Also, the formula has ingredients for increasing the metabolism, suppressing appetite, and supporting healthy organ function. The reading material that you receive from the vendor is badly edited and has conflicting statements. So I emailed them– is this a 500 calorie or 1200 calorie diet? They emailed me back that you should be flexible based on your calorie needs and level of activity. “Listen to your body”, they told me. Consider that you’re going to lose weight whether you consume 500 or 1200 calories, only the pace at which you lose will change. It’s gratifying to see positive results quickly, but don’t damage your body in order to lose the weight.I went to my doctor in the middle of the first round, and while I had lost weight, the most gratifying to me was that my labs looked good and my blood pressure had become a normal 118/72, which I haven’t seen in a long time. I credit this to the formula which contains l-argenine, to eating 2 green apples a day (my own choice from among the options), eating lean meat, and eliminating all the pizza, ice cream, hamburgers and other crap. I’m kind of experimenting to see if using the drops vs. not using them makes a difference, and I’m leaning towards that they do make a difference. I would recommend that if you decide to use HCG Activation or any other weight loss product, get a metabolic lab test when you start so you have something for comparison. I also recommend that you not do the 500 cal. diet, which can have serious health consequences. Be sensible and flexible. Sorry, I’m no doctor or health professional, so you don’t have to listen to me. I’m just sharing the reminders I keep giving myself. I’m not in a race to prove anything. And I’m not about to ruin my health to look good. I’m doing this for my health. Good luck to you who are reading this. Live long and prosper!
