Taste Good & Works – My Honest Opinion
I noticed this product as one of my friend recommened to me. I was tempted to try this but did not want to get into the challenge program and the autoship stuffs. Heard so many ppl complain that its a pain and once u sign up i heard they really dont give a damn to ur concerns.
So decided to try this for a month via amazon and see if its works for me.

How i make my shakes:

a) I have my shakes with unsweetened Almond milk (4 Oz – 20 Calorie) + water (4 Oz) + 2 scoops of BBV shake mix (90 Calorie) + some frozen fruits (100 – 150 Calorie). Kind of makes my calorie to 250 – 280.
b) I mix match the fruits so i don’t get bored.
My first week: – (No Change in my weight)

c) Had one sensible meal for dinner

I had no change in my weight and was little disappointed.
My second week: – (Weight was not steady)

My weight was not steady and it went up by 2 lbs and down by 2 lbs. Still disappointed.
I decided to use myfitnesspal.com and start to track my calories and saw that i was above 200-300 calories each day, when i was under an impression that i’m not actually eating enough calories. So this was an eye opener to me. So monitorning them was helping to know what and how much i actually eat.
My Third week: – (Lost 3 LB)

My weight was down by another 3 LBS. I understood that i was eating around 400 – 500 calories for dinner which as a general rule people say its not good to eat more calories at night. So i swaped my shake timing.
Also started to do slight exerice. Not got into it yet. But atleast started something.

This product works. Make sure u consume the right calories. My goal is to lose 15-20 LBS. I’m now down by 6LBS in the first month. Now ordered another pack from amazon. Hope i do better this month. Will update my results.
Also now i’m started to beleive that even without this shake by eating right calories and a lil workout will help u reduce weight and stay in shake. But i wanna reach my goal fast and then wil maintain my wight by eating right and exercising.

It have been approximately 2+ months since i started to use this shake. And I have lost 9 Lbs so far. Its no magic like some ppl say that they lost 10 lbs in week and all that. Its kind of slow. But, YAY atleast something!!
It works!
It does work, but so does calorie counting and exercise.
For my shakes I use 2% milk, I thought about low fat or no fat milk but the calories were all the same, 1/2 a banana is great in the shake plus 1 tablespoon of chocolate powder (only 10 calories), 1 tsp of peanut butter and 2 scoops of shake mix. The banana definitely increases the calorie count but it’s really good and I dont find myself needing a snack when I used to.
If you want a nice meal alternative this is a great choice, but just a reminder, I was STARVED in the beginning but prior to this I was eating a lot of food without any concern of calories or fat content so I think that has something to do with it too. Word to the wise, drink lots of water, it is very fiber rich and can cause constipation if you dont!
Giving it 4 stars but I really think 3.5 is more accurate, the flavor is good but it’s not a magic weight loss potion like everything else it does require work. Sadly I was sold the magic weight loss potion but hey at 1100-1200 calories a day I would drop weight like crazy it I didnt pass out from hunger first.

These shakes have enabled me to give my body some amazing nutrition that has been super easy for me!!! I generally keep my shakes right around 300-320 calories… anything less I am starving and anything more I just wanna eat! I use almond milk in mine as it has lower calories, make a smoother better tasting shake than regular milk….. I add Hershey’s cocoa powder, ice, a banana and 2 scoops shake mix to my 8 oz of almond milk every morning! Yummmy!!! I could go on and on and on about these, but I really do not want to bore you…. BUT of all the diets I have tried… Advocare, Herbal Life, MediFast, Alli, Atkins, Weight Watchers…. nothing has worked for me as well as this!!!

More than meets the eye
So after much research, found out that by taking the Body by Vi challenge it gives you the sensation of being “full”, and tricks your body into burning the fat, and not the lean muscle, which normally happens on diets such as Slim Fast or other starvation fads. So for those of you who pay attention to the scale for results, you are in the wrong boat. I’m on my first week, already lost 1.5 inches off my waist which is very significant, but my weight only went down 2 lbs…this was accounted for all the strength and conditioning I was doing, so in essence you are building muscle, losing fat. Forget BMI, and weight…they are a load of crap. Neither of them take into consideration bone density, abnormalities, such as I have over sized thighs and very broad shoulders…but my only problem area is my stomach, but according to my doctor my BMI says I should be legally defined as dead (joking of course).
Now, onto some of the negatives…IF you decide to take this product it does require a large amount of will power, as will any diet. Yes, the shakes are satisfying, but they are not an end all solution. You will be tempted, even with the appetite curving powder, which is why I recommend healthy snacking such as fruits, vegetables, and if you’re like me where the hardest part of the program was at night…I chose to take the shakes once for breakfast, and once for dinner, but had the dinner one at around 7:30 so as to not be so hungry at night before I go to bed…and if drinking water gets boring you can do what I do and use the Mio flavor squirts…no calories, no sugar.
So for anyone who says counting calories is equivalent to Body by Vi is mistaken…I’ve tried counting calories and lost a significant amount of lean muscle, and almost zero fat. Is it easy? Absolutely not, but you will feel better about yourself, you won’t feel heavy throughout the day and although you don’t immediately see results, you will notice your stomach shrinking as the days go by just by rubbing it.

I started the shakes on Friday, having one for breakfast and one for lunch. I have already lost 3 pounds and its Wednesday morning!!
I mix the shakes with frozen fruit, sherbert, etc…trying to keep each shake under 300 calories. I also eat two granola bars as snacks throughout the day and for dinner I have whatever I want (thin crust pizza, salmon, grilled chicken and spinach salad) and dessert.
I have enough energy for a good workout at the gym, and its nice seeing results so fast. Yes, its expensive, but you will not spend less than 90 dollars on breakfast and lunch for an entire month anyway, so go for it!!
7 more pounds to go for me…wahoo!

Pros: Tastes great, many options for mixing in flavors, fruit, peanut butter, etc… Quick to mix up (I use my Magic Bullet), keeps me full for about 4-5 hours depending on what I mix in,
Cons: More expensive than other shakes
It seems to be working for me
After four weeks, I’ve lost 10-1/2 pounds. My clothes aren’t quite as snug, and we find that we can’t eat as much as we used to when we sit down for dinner. We aren’t “hard-core”– we usually have a shake for breakfast and lunch, M-F, and sometimes just one shake a day on the weekends. Mine usually consist of 1% milk, a banana, the shake mix, and a teaspoon of sugar-free instant pudding mix. My wife uses almond milk in hers. We normally have a small snack mid-morning and mid-afternoon (maybe a few grapes, an apple or one of those pre-packaged “100 calorie” snack bags), then we eat a normal dinner (except that we eat less than before). Yes, we sometimes cheat on the weekends and snack on chips, cheese, or some kind of fast food junk, but still manage to lose ten pounds over the last four weeks. Exercise?- nope, nothing out of the ordinary. We’re sticking with the program, and we’ll see if the weight loss continues.
